  • Merge On Sundays

    Sundays at Merge are a great way to start off each week. We believe great things happen when the people of God meet together to make much of what He has done for us through Jesus.
    A typical Sunday morning starts at the front door where you will be greeted by many people who are thrilled you chose to hang out with them that morning. On your way to the Worship Center feel free to drop by the coffee and dough-nut area for some complimentary caffeine and sugar or drop your child off with a Merge Kids Difference Maker so they can begin the to have a great time playing with other kids and getting ready to hear a special Bible story geared just for them.

    Once the gathering begins you are invited to worship through song with us as we sing both new and old songs of praise to our God. Next we typically open up the Bible as Pastor Brandon shares a practical, challenging and relevant lesson for Merger’s and guests to chew on during the week.
    Most Sunday’s go from 10:30-11:40.

    Merge On Wednesdays

    Wednesdays for Merge are another great opportunity to gather together for building community, growing in our faith and praying with one another. This is accomplished in a small group environment for both adults and students (7th-12th grade). Merge Groups are held in a few locations (email office@mergecc.com for more info). Merge Students meet at 404 W. Main St from 6:30-7:45pm!!!

What type of church is Merge?

Merge is considered a non-denominational, missional body of believers. Non-denominational in the sense that we are not affiliated with any denominational organization. Missional in the sense that we believe in the power and responsibility of the local church. Just like some are called to serve over seas in other countries, we feel called to serve Azle and the surrounding communities as missionaries sent to this area by showing them the love of God through Jesus.

What should I wear on Sundays?

Sunday's at Merge are a very casual experience. You will see people wear anything from shorts, to jeans to slacks. We are more concerned that you come and less concerned what you wear.

What is your worship style?

At Merge we believe that worship through song is a great way to draw closer to God. We use many modern and ancient songs to prepare us to open up God's Word on Sunday's. Each Sunday there is an open invitation to worship freely by lifting your hands, standing to your feet or simply sitting in silence.

What is availablefor my kids?

Being just a few years old we believe in excellence at Merge. For that reason we currently offer child care for infant through Kindergarten on Sunday's. This a a great experience for kids in this ministry. We believe there is great value in families going to church together so School age kids and teens join us in our Sunday morning gathering (Merge Kids are invited to their own special time after we worshiop throgh song). We believe this provides great opportunities for families to talk about God openly and what He is doing in their lives.
